I appreciated most , it is this " Tomorrow is another day of hers. " . Promising forever, full of fighting will , will never give up, never desperate. I think I'm moved by her.So, whenever I meet difficulty, the mood is not good, I will tell oneself : " Tomorrow is another day. " 'Gone with the Wind' is absolutely a good book that is worth sampling repeatedly, the characters are graceful , the plot rises and falls, exciting boldly and unconstrainedly, though the subjective factor because of the author among them , the appraisal on U.S.A.'s Civil War is not objective and overall, but as to angle of literature, this one fine piece of writing generation definitely absolutely, worth visiting.

  Title: The Little Prince

  Author: Antoine de St-Exupery

Main Characters: The little prince, the pilot, the rose, the fox, the snake, etc.

Despite I’ve not in my childhood yet, I still prefer reading fairy-tale stories. The tales, which accompany with me in my old days, often make me think of some precious experience and sensation which only belong to children. This summer I’ve review this kind of tale, which was published in 1940. It’s the world-famous fairy-tale by the French author, Antoine de St-Exupery, The Little Prince.

As many other fairy-tales, the outline of The Little Prince is not very complex. “I”, the narrator of the story, is a pilot whose plane has something wrong and lands in the Sahara. In this occasion, the pilot makes the acquaintance of the little prince, a little boy from another planet, the Asteroid B612. The little prince has escaped from his tiny planet, because he has some quarrel with a rose, which grows on his planet. In that case he left his own planet and took an exploration at some neighbor asteroids.

On his all-alone journey, the little prince meets different kinds of people, which includes a king, a conceited man, a tippler, a businessman, a lamplighter and a geographer. From these people he gets a conclusion that the grown-ups are very odd. Following the instruction of the geographer, he descends in the Sahara, on the earth.

Jane lives in a parents, living environment, but she has always been the pursuit of maintaining independent personality, the pursuit of freedom, advocating individuality. In the pursuit of equality between men and women in the concept of equality.

Jane Eyre is a sensitive and easily hurt woman, with longer to her childhood narrative scene, but I feel is in describing the character of Jane Eyre, Lott had complex to leave the body, so she did not narrate the omniscient point of view, so she described almost can be considered her opinion.

Camel Xiangzi, written by Lao She, tells the tragic fate of Xiangzi, a rickshaw driver in Beijing. Xiangzi is a strong and sunny young man, but later he was tortured by the old society into a man who is easy to take advantage of and numb. This made me very sympathetic to Xiangzi's experience and very glad that I didn't live in that dark old society.

Xiangzi, who had just arrived in Beijing, was determined to buy his own car. After three years of frugality, he finally bought a car. But it was later robbed by soldiers. People often say, "as long as you work hard, you will have a good result." But in the old society, what's the use of this sentence? Then Xiangzi managed to escape from the barracks and pulled out three camels. The nickname Camel Xiangzi came from this. After returning to Beijing, Xiangzi again planned to buy a car, but he didn't save enough money and was cheated away by the hateful detective sun. Seeing here, I felt helpless for Xiangzi again, because Beijing was such a lawless place where officers and soldiers were domineering. Then Xiangzi was forced to marry Tigress, the daughter of fourth Master Liu, the owner of the car factory. After Tigress married Xiangzi, Tigress bought Xiangzi a second car. Xiangzi was very happy because he finally had his own car. But soon afterwards, Tigress died of dystocia. Xiangzi had to sell her car for her funeral. Finally, his favorite woman, xiaofuzi, hanged again. The series of blows made Xiangzi fall willingly. Xiangzi, who used to be strong, dreamy and strong like a camel, has become a selfish walking corpse. No longer proud of pulling cars as before, but hate pulling cars and don't do business, thinking about getting benefits from others all day.

I remember once, two aunts downstairs had a fight. After the mediation of the Mediation Office in the community understood the situation, they fairly solved their problems, and both aunts were convinced.

How harmonious life is now! Without the darkness of the old society, it is unfair. Therefore, we should cherish today's harmonious and happy life.

Wizard of Oz is a fairy tale carefully written by American writer Lyman Frank Baum. The article contains the author's inspiration to the desire - don't think that the desire can never be realized. As long as you work hard and strive for it, then the desire will be realized by us.

The wizard of Oz paints a moving story full of friendship, courage and trust. Let us know that friendship is a kind of quiet and calm love, guided by reason, the habit of forming, the combination of long - term understanding and common, without jealousy, and no fear. True perseverance is that when a man is in trouble or danger, he can calm himself and do his duty. (Rock)

The images depicted in the wizard of Oz are Rosie, scarecrow, iron man, lion, and oz. They have experienced a lot of things together: bravely defeated the evil Western wicked witch; they worked together through the exquisite porcelain country and the wooded Schwarzwald; found the good Southern witch Genda, finally finished the desire to go home with Rosie, and lived happily with Aunt Amy and uncle Henry.

By reading the work of Wizard of Oz, we must learn more about Rosie's steadfast spirit and optimistic attitude. Although there are some frustrations and hardships to realize the ideal desire, as long as we have persevered efforts, one day, we feel that the desire to be impossible will be realized.

Pride and Prejudice is my favorite novel, which impresses me for a longtime。 It describes a love story mainly between Elisabeth, who I like the best, and a rich and proud man, Darcy。

The story began with the arrival of a crowd of rich men who rent a housenear the Bennet。 In a ball, Elisabeth gave such a bad impression on Darcy’sfirst pride that she refused Darcy’s first proposal。 Darcy was so surprised byElisabeth’s refusal that he loved Elisabeth more deeply。 And Elisabeth’santipathy made Darcy realize his shortings。 He was not angry about Elisabeth’scensure, but also he changed his previous proud attitude。 During Elisabeth’stravel in Darcy’s manor。 Darcy was very nice to her uncle and aunt, differentfrom previous proud attitude。 When one of Elisabeth’s sisters ran away withWickham, Darcy helped Elisabeth find her sister and prevent her sister from theloss of reputation, with nobody knowing that it was he who helped the Bennet。 Somany changes in Darcy eliminated Elisabeth’s prejudice。 At last it end withtheir marriage。

Taking the daily life as its material, this story reflected the life andlove in a conservative and blocking England town。 It reflected the author’s viewabout marriage that it is fault to marry for property, money and status and itis also foolish to take these elements into account。 In fact Darcy’s pridemanifested the gap between their statuses。 Since his pride existed, there is noideal marriage between Elisabeth and Darcy。 From the different attitudes fromDarcy’s two proposals, it reflected the feminine pursuit of personalityindependence and right equality, which is a progressive character from the imageof Elisabeth。

MISS AUSTEN never attempts to describe a scene or a class of society with which she was not herself thoroughly acquainted. The conversations of ladies with ladies, or of ladies and gentlemen together, are given, but no instance occurs of a scene in which men only are present. The uniform quality of her work is one most remarkable point to be observed in it. Let a volume be opened at any place: there is the same good English, the same refined style, the same simplicity and truth. There is never any deviation into the unnatural or exaggerated; and how worthy of all love and respect is the finely disciplined genius which rejects the forcible but transient modes of stimulating interest which can so easily be employed when desired, and which knows how to trust to the never-failing principles of human nature! This very trust has sometimes been made an objection to Miss Austen, and she has been accused of writing dull stories about ordinary people. But her supposed ordinary people are really not such very ordinary people. Let anyone who is inclined to criticise on this score endeavor to construct one character from among the ordinary people of his own acquaintance that shall be capable of interesting any reader for ten minutes. It will then be found how great has been the discrimination of Miss Austen in the selection of her characters, and how skillful is her treatment in the management of them. It is true that the events are for the most part those of daily life, and the feelings are those connected with the usual joys and griefs of familiar existence; but these are the very events and feelings upon which the happiness or misery of most of us depends; and the field which embraces them, to the exclusion of the wonderful, the sentimental, and the historical, is surely large enough, as it certainly admits of the most profitable cultivation.

In the end, too, the novel of daily real life is that of which we are least apt to weary: a round of fancy balls would tire the most vigorous admirers of variety in costume, and the return to plain clothes would be hailed with greater delight than their occasional relinquishment ever gives. Miss Austen's personages are always in plain clothes, but no two suits are alike: all are worn with their appropriate differen AS we should expect from such a life, Jane Austen's view of the world is genial, kindly, and, we repeat, free from anything like cynicism. It is that of a clear-sighted and somewhat satirical onlooker, loving what deserves love, and amusing herself with the foibles, the self-deceptions, the affectations of humanity. Refined almost to fastidiousness, she is hard upon vulgarity; not, however, on good-natured vulgarity, such as that of Mrs. Jennings in "Sense and Sensibility," but on vulgarity like that of Miss Steele, in the same novel, combined at once with effrontery and with meanness of soul.

After reading this wonderful story, I can feel love, brave, deep friendship and some other good spirits in the people.

The Scarecrow wanted some brains, but on the way to the Emerald City, he thought out of a way to cross the river. The Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave, but when they met the river, he carried other friends to jump across it. And the Tin Man wanted a heart, he said he couldn’t love, but he didn’t want to hurt any animal. In fact, they all have the things they want: the Scarecrow is clever, the Cowardly Lion is brave and the Tin Man is kind-hearted. This book tells us a story of how a little girl Dorothy goes back to her hometown when she is in another strange city. Dorothy is a little girl who lived with her aunt and uncle in Kansas. The weather there is very bad, sometimes there was a cyclone.

When a cyclone came, people stayed under their houses. But one day a cyclone blows Dorothy’s house, with Dorothy and her dog Toto in it, to a country called Oz. In that city there are four witches and a very famous wizard—the Wizard of Oz. And Dorothy’s house just fell on the bad Witch of the East and killed her, so the people there were very happy. Dorothy took the witch’s red shoes and wore them. She wanted to go home to Kansas but she doesn’t know how to get there. So the Witch of North told her to go to the Emerald City to find the Wizard of Oz to help her. Then Dorothy met the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion, but they need help too. The Scarecrow wanted some brains, the Tin Man wanted a heard, and the Cowardly Lion wanted to be brave.

So they all take the yellow brick road to the Emerald City. On the way to the Emerald City they met some difficulties, but they solved them successfully. After they met the Wizard of Oz, the wizard gave them another challenge—to kill the bad Witch of the West and they accept. During the way to the Witch of the West’s house, they were caught by the witch and Dorothy was requested to work for her. One day, when the witch tried to catch Dorothy’s red shoes, Dorothy threw some water on the witch by accident and the Witch of the West disappeared. Only water can kill her. So Dorothy went back to the Emerald City with her friends but they found the Wizard of Oz is not a real wizard, he is also a man came from Kansas, and he is just a conjurer. He wanted to go back to Kansas too.

So he made a big balloon and prepared to go. But when the balloon is going to raise, Dorothy’s dog Toto jumped away to run after a cat, so Dorothy had to get Toto back and they were left in Oz. Then Dorothy and Toto went and find the Witch of the South and the witch told them they can just use the red shoes on Dorothy’s feet, they’re a pair of magic shoes, they could take anybody go back to their home as soon as she said‘East, west—home is the best!’After Dorothy said goodbye to her friends, she went back to her new home with her dog. It’s really a wonderful risk.

Yes, no matter where we are, home is always the best place for us to rest or study. There are our parents here; there are also our favorite things here. At home, we feel safe, we feel comfortable, and we can relax ourselves. From this story, we can see Dorothy is a brave and kind-hearted girl. She killed the two bad witches in Oz; she helped the Scarecrow, the Tin Man, and the Cowardly Lion to go to the Emerald City to find the Wizard and get what they want. She solved problems when they met difficulties. It’s really not easy for such a little girl. We also learn that teamwork is important for us. When we are in trouble, we can ask our friends for help, and also, when our friends need help, we should go and help them. Just remember, more people, more power. It’s always better has more people to do a thing.

Teamwork is really necessary in our lives. And we can see the Scarecrow is absolutely cleaver, he understands things, he can think, he learn quickly, and he suggested Dorothy to cut down a tree to cross the river. The tin man has a kind heart, he laughs, he cries, he loves, he feels sorry for people. The Cowardly Lion is really brave, he did a lot of brave things, he carried the friends to go across the river, and he wanted to find some food for his friends and so on. We should learn from them too. When we are in trouble, we should calm down, watch the things around carefully, and try to think out of a way to solve it, just like the Scarecrow. We also should be brave as we are in danger, we can’t be afraid, we should face the difficulty and try to go through it, just like the Cowardly Lion.

And we should learn to love people, to feel sorry for people, to make more friends, to get on well with everyone around us, just like the Tin Man. Yes, we should learn how to get on with other people, we should help each other, we should be brave, we should love other people. If we can do like this, we can be a better girl (boy), more and more people will make friends with us, and more and more people will like us!

Sons and Lovers was D.H. Lawrence"s first major novel. His only major novel, some would say; but even readers who are out of sympathy with him, or who feel that his gifts were not really those of a novelist, have usually been happy to make a wholehearted exception in this one case.

It is a book that goes straight to the point, at the outset and at almost every subsequent stage. Between them his two methods leave us in no doubt where the heart of his story is to be located.

Gertrude Morel is a woman of high principle, of character and refinement. Her husband is a miner who can barely read and write. Marrying him for passion, she is bitterly disappointed by his rough manners, his drinking, what she can only see as his weakness and irresponsibility. When the book opens, the marriage has already turned into a battlefield, and the love she has withdrawn from Morel is being redirected toward the first of her children. In the previous chapters, Gertrude Morel is most devoted to her eldest son William. But after he dies of a skin disease, she plunges into grief. Seeing William is gone, she rededicates her life to Paul, and this revives her. She teaches her son art, education, and social advancement. She lives for her sons and will do anything to see them make their way in the world.

Mrs. Morel is terribly tired of her involvement in Paul and Miriam"s relationship and decides to stop intervening. She knows that Paul is an adult now and that there is nothing she can do to stop Paul from seeing Miriam. She feels that she can never forgive her son for sacrificing himself to love Miriam. As it mentions above, Paul has begun to realize how much his mother affects his life. Her deep love for him has made her a part of himself that when he wants to break free from his mother, he is unable to get away from her. His mother is ingrained into his very soul.

That’s to say, his mother influences Paul very much, and which proves to be for worse to him. When Paul finds girlfriend, he always find the girl who takes after his mother, not only the out look but also in mental. But in fact he could not find such girl. So it lead to that he never willing to be bound to Miriam in marriage or to Clara in physical love. At last Paul has begun to realize how much his mother affects his life. Her deep love for him has made her a part of himself that when he wants to break free from his mother, he is unable to get away from her. His mother is ingrained into his very soul.

To sum up, Paul’s mother has some bad influence on him and to a large extent changes his life.

O.Henry, originally named William Sydeny Porter, was a renowned American writer. He wrote about 300 short stories in his life, and all of his stories were ingeniously conceived and its endings were always contrary to reader"s expectations. when I was still a junior middle school student,I read the o.henry"s short stories at first time, without some profound understanding and appreciation in my mind.At that time, the sense of humor infiltrating in stories is the sole aesthetic acquisition I can gained after reading, with exception of any understanding about the underlying meanings which O.henry was apt to elucidate.but now, picking up these masterpieces after five years,I seemingly can get through some metaphorical thoughts conveyed by O.henry.

it is a univerisal common knowledge that a writer"s articles have firm relationship with his living condition and background.hence,a explicit knowledge of o.henry"s living background is significant.O.henry was born in 1862,when america"s economy was taking off and on the threshold of the second industrial revolution. And he passed away at 1910,just before WWI,without being involved in havoc brought by war.Altogether,America enjoyed a steady prosperity in this period.while in the meantime, many new problems occured, accompanying by some new phonemenon such as the monopoly, assembly producting, imperialism, metopolitons and etc, which lead to a confusion and nebulous gratification among US citizens.

Most o.henry"s short stories happened in New york, which was regarded as a romantic place.whether this city he created was real or fabricated is ultimately irrelevant.Id like to quote a famous critics" sayingthe most noble pursuit of art, then, is not to be a representation of what is real, but to be true to what it is.to illustrate this issue.for instance,in the story,Mr. Behrman drew a leaf on the wall.but is this wall really keeps its exsistance?is it really located in a unknown corner of new york city? as far as i am concerned,it is just a manifestation of artistic characteristic of o.henry"s writing.whats more, the city also represented much of what was positive about american life:the excitment and endless varity of urban living.whereas, some of his stories focus on other areas as well, like Texas and the west, central america, the south, the midest. In his story,it is a rash one who will lay his finger on the map and sayin this town there can be no romance---what could happen here?so,as a distinguished romanticist,he established a marvelous, romantic stroy in Nashville.

On the other hand,O.henry"s fictions overwhelmingly show a cue of optimisticism towards usa,an expression of the b faith in the american dream before it become a nightmare.many poor people and immigrants cherish such an america dream, which is nebulous, implicit to some extent.it seemed like that presupposing one has eternal confidence in life,he will recieve his reward in time.so lovers in o.henry"s stories, who often seperated by fate and destiny, were doomed to reunite out of their faith and confidence in hearts.Joy,happiness and success also becomes the essence of life.

in conclusion,o.henry made remarkable and collossal contribution to american literature, which has already portrayed as summit of this area.beckoning as it is,these stories really bring us a fabulous aesthetic experience while reading, regardless of his seemingly sentimental expression.

I bought the book "leather bag" in Chengpin bookstore last year. That day, my parents and I came to Suzhou Chengpin bookstore. As soon as I entered the door, I rushed into the children's reading area, hoping to find a book that matched my taste. But to my disappointment, looking around, it was a pile of childish fairy tale books and literacy books read by kindergarten children. There is not a book suitable for third graders at all.

Unable to buy a book, I was in a very low mood and followed my parents to the adult area unhappily. In the adult area, I was bored, so I opened a book at random and read it carelessly. Slowly, I was attracted by his vivid story and profound words, found a seat and "tasted" it with great interest. Later, I couldn't enjoy it, so I asked my father to buy this leather bag.

The author of this book is Cai Chongda. He was a child who grew up in a remote village in Southern Fujian. His father died at the age of 16. From then on, he became the head of the family and took care of his mother and sister. In his life, he met different people, such as arrogant ah Xiao, Magnolia officinalis living in the new world, genius cultural exhibition, stone Artest and so on. Sad and happy stories lead me into Chongda's life, let me feel the hardship of his poor home and the author's longing for home.

Life is different for everyone, some comfortable and some difficult. And this "leather bag" brought me into this "hillbilly" life and made me feel "hardship" again.

  Lookupthetree,Lookupthetree。Whatcanyouseeupinthetree。Redkites,orangekites,greenkites,bluekites。Somanykites,formeandyou。

  It'saball,notadoll。It'sadoll,notaball。Ilikedoll,Ilikeball。
